Hello there shipmates.
Trafalgar Day gets bigger and better each year.....
All we need now are loads of boats to do a circuit of the bay, or if weather isn't too good out at sea, at least a few circuits of the outer harbour. Don't forget to dress with flags and make sure your horns are working!!!
This year, the entertainment has been organised by the Esplanade Club and the whole Town have been informed so they can dress their windows accordinlgly. Publicity will bring many out to the harbour to watch .......
We therefore need as many vessels as possible in the parade...
We are hoping that our own naval vessel, GAY ARCHER will lead us out.
They are working flat out to get her ready!!!!
So, please make every effort to follow, by engine, ouboard, or oars!
SUNDAY.17th. OCTOBER
Order of the day:
1pm - 2pm. Cornish Sea Shanty Singers, Outside the Club.
2pm. Parade of boats.
Thereafter, buffet and folk music in the Club.
There is no charge for members and crew as the event is jointly sponsored by the Esplanade Club and the WBOA.
(Marina visitors are welcome to join in...)
Donations welcome for the RNLI by all.
Back at the club there will also be a NAVAL TRIVIA QUIZ.......WINE FOR THE WINNING Individual.
